It was a great experience to watch the movie Aurora. They have about 1 hour minute doors for both French and English. It was a great experience.

I checked the website before coming to the space centre and it said to buy tickets on the door if you want to go in the morning. When I arrived I was told the earliest I could go in was 1.30. Wouldn’t be such a big deal but this is really out of the way so not easy to go and come back. Also the woman on the desk told me that it wasn’t worth going in anyway as their main attraction was broken. So I would take her advice and don’t bother.

Nous sommes venus à une séance du mercredi soir, c'était super. Nous ne nous attendions pas à ça. Les explications étaient vraiment intéressantes. Les enfants étaient très attentifs !

The museum is pretty cool, especially the meteorite, moon rock, rocket engine and high energy radiation detector. Each exhibit is well explained by a plaque or a poster too. The planetarium was a bit of a let down (I went to the dark matter one) because it was simplified quite a bit for kids and people unfamiliar with astronomy. I think they would need to do this though or else not enough people would show up. The show itself was rather current (even had the gravitational waves discovery included) and the lady who led the show knew lots on the topic. The old lazer machine is out of commission but you can still see it at the middle of the room and take pictures of it. Overall I do recommend this place.

First time visiting Science North. Adults is $25 to get in.Children 3-14 is $21 .There is a price for seniors but not sure we went into the Dinosaur exhibit. That was pretty good .Went into the Science part and was surprised at how well things were set up as there were ot of interative stations. It was very interesting and we had a great time .We also had lunch it was good food as well.

I saw the Pink Floyd laser show last night and it was amazing I’d never been to a planetarium or a laser show and it really exceeded my expectations, the visuals were so crisp and I loved the smoke machines

We last minute checked out the planetarium for any special holiday shows. We were not disappointed. They are playing two shows this weekend (although we saw the last showing of The Longest Night tonight). They are still showing two matinees tomorrow, 12/22, of Let it Snow, an animated holiday music show. Our 6 yo really enjoyed the pre-show talk about the stars in our night sky and the show was lovely. The presenter was knowledgeable and very personable and took time to give us telescope recommendations after the show. They have new shows starting next weekend, so check out their website. They are in a temporary facility in Buckham Hall at Buffalo State College. I rated it a 4 only because the folding chairs were uncomfortable. We look forward to the new facility which looks beautiful.

Went on a date to the Christmas laser show. Staff was very friendly and courteous from the emails and speaking with them on-site. Show was in a very small inflatable planetarium (I believe they are doing construction on the real one?) and was a bit cramped. The show was cheesy (as expected!) but I think it is more geared towards families and kids. Either way, it was a fun show (and cheap with a Groupon!). They have around 10 different laser shows, some that I would certainly be interested in on paper, but I don't think additional viewings are needed after doing it once.

The show director was excellent! Seats were comfortable and both the locale and venue were great. Unfortunately the planetarium projector itself is very old and it can produce only blurry images inside the dome. Also, one of the two projectors was very dim so only half the sky is projected.

Just went to the 4pm show. Towards the end of the show, the presenter, I think his name was Devon, asked if there were any questions. Up to this point, he was awesome with the children. I asked about the picture the Hubble Space telescope took a few years back that showed stars that previously had not been seen. I very clearly said Hubble telescope, and previously unseen stars. However, I mis-spoke and said that I thought they were in a black hole. I was asking if they had the pictures. Instead of clarifying my question, Devon latched onto my use of black hole and shut me down. Then went on to present the picture I was asking about. I’m sorry if I almost ruined your big finish Devon, but you really should not work with the public if you can’t handle someone asking a question that might burst the bubble on your big finish. Not likely to go back if he’s the presenter again.
